Tune In Tuesdays: Teen Years (1998)

A Weekly Meme from GReads
Since music is one of the main things in my life outside of books, I jumped on the bandwagon for this fun meme.

July - My Teen Years Special Edition: What were you listening to when you were a teenager? We all come from different decades, with different tunes.  For this month, please pick some of your favorite songs that bring you back to those glorious teenage years!

In 1998 I was 18 and listening to about the same sort of music I had been listening to earlier years.
Here's to listing songs in 1998 that came out that I really went gaga over:

The Unforgiven II by Metallica

The beat, the lyrics, everything. To this day I feel like starting a slow spin while staring up at the night sky when hearing this song. My favorite of the trilogy, although I greatly enjoy all three.

Save Yourself by Stabbing Westward

This song is just pure genius

Iris by Goo Goo Dolls

Surprisingly even my mother likes this song, and she usually stays with soft 80s rock. There's something magical about this one.
