Harry Potter Week - RIP Alan Rickman

I admit I never paid much attention to Rickman before Snape. It had been years since I saw Die Hard and I wasn't a big fan of it, but after seeing him in the movie Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone, I was immediately entranced. This was before I read the books - I pictured him when reading the series this year. He was perfectly cast in the role.

I don't have much time say beyond that - I was sorry to hear of his passing. Snape is my favorite character in the Potterverse, and Rickman was a talented actor who played so many well-sketched roles. Eternal memory.
