"A Book MeMe"

I’m stealing this from Bewitched Books and if you “steal” it from me, leave a comment here so I can come and read your answers. I love seeing what other people are reading, their faves, etc.
Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror?
Horror. I've always loved it, whether in book, movie, or any other form. Never read much science fiction or fantasy. My mind has trouble wrapping around the bizarre Sci-Fi and way out there fantasy line. Still I've always wanted to get more into both.

Hardback or Trade Paperback or Mass Market Paperback? Paperback. Sad I read so much and don't know how to differentiate much between trade and mass market. Hardbacks are too awkward to read and paperbacks seem more cozy.

Amazon or Brick and Mortar? Both, but I mainly buy online.

Barnes & Noble or Borders? Here it's Books-A-Million vs. Barnes N' Noble. Barnes is a lot better but sadly a 40 minute drive. The only borders here is in the mall near the Barnes N' Noble

Hitchhiker or Discworld? Errr no clue

Bookmark or Dogear? Bookmark. When I was a kid I couldn't stand dog earing, then I got into it for a few years, trying to break this annoying habit.
Asimov’s Science Fiction or Fantasy & Science Fiction? Neither.
Alphabetize by author, Alphabetize by title, or random? On the bookshelf? I'm not sure yet, they lie on the floor right now. People keep promising my bookshelves but... I'll either do it by author, or by section and author.
Keep, Throw Away or Sell? Keep. I dont even trade books.

Keep dust-jacket or toss it? Keep of course !
Read with dustjacket or remove it? I take it off during reading because it always slips and annoys the hell out of me.

Short story or novel? Novels. I have more trouble getting into anthologies and short stories.

Harry Potter or Lemony Snicket? Neither. I'm a rare reader who hasn't read Harry Potter.

Stop reading when tired or at chapter breaks? Chapter break if at all possible.
“It was a dark and stormy night” or “Once upon a time?” Both!
Buy or Borrow? Buy. I lost books belonging to one of my library cards so can't use that lol. I prefer to own anyway.

Buying choice: Book Reviews, Recommendation or Browse? All of the above, but usually browsing in a bookstore. Otherwise from comments on books, then purchasing online.

Lewis or Tolkien? Haven't read either. Yes shoot me now.

Collection (short stories by the same author) or Anthology (short stories by different authors)? Doesn’t make a difference to me.
Tidy ending or Cliffhanger? I hate cliffhangers where you have to wait a year to find out what happened next. Similarly I can't stand this in TV shows either.

Morning reading, Afternoon reading or Nighttime reading? My brain does not function in the morning. Afternoon I'm working or busy doing other things. Night is the best.

Standalone or Series? I love series but I havent found too many to adopt.

New or used? Both
Favorite book of which nobody else has heard?

No favorite book.

Top 5 favorite genre books of all time? See above.

Favorite genre series? Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton — if you cut it off at Narcissus in Chains.

Currently Reading? Just finished one, and trying to decide which to pick up from the TBR pile.
