Today's Bookstore Adventure

Went to the bookstore today (mentioned in a previous post about the plans). Of course I couldn't walk away empty handed, and got carried away as usual.

Here's the round-up for the day:

Monday's Child - Patricia Wallace - Horror
I had this one when I was a teenager, had forgotten it until I saw the cover! Swiped it up immediately.

Zombie House - Martin James - Horror
This one sounds eerie

House of Illusions - Ruby Jean Jensen - Horror - A Rebuy from years before

Victoria - Ruby Jean Jensen - Horror - A Rebuy from years before

Cat's Eye - William W. Johnstone - Horror - A Rebuy (grrr)

Famine - Graham Masterton - Yes, another by this great man!

Babel's Children - J. N. Williamson - Horror

Dark Companions - Ramsay Campbell - Horror

My Sweet Audrina - V.C. Andrews - A Rebuy

A new series to try:

Sex and the Single Vampire - Katie MacAlister - Paranormal Romance

Sex, Lies, and Vampires - Katie MacAlister - Paranormal Romance

A new author (for me), looks great

The haunted heiress of Wyndcliffe Manor - Beverly C. Warren - Gothic
The Dark Opals of Harrow Island - Same as above
Bride of Hatfield Castle - Same as above

And, finally, these books are old and were cheap but look fascinating. I'm missing now about 5 books from the series, called The Falcon Saga. Has anyone else heard of it? I hadn't until today.

Here are the books, written by Catherine Darby:

Book 1 - A Falcon for a witch
Book 4 - Season of the Falcon
Book 5 - Falcon Royal
Book 6 - The Falcon Tree
Book 7 - The Falcon And The Moon
Book 8 - Falcon Rising

Young adult -

Ran into this section and couldn't resist for old time's sake. I used to love these when I was younger.

Sweet Valley High - Malibu Summer by Francine Pascal
Sweet Valley High - Deadly Summer by Francine Pascal
Are you there God? It's me, Margaret. - By Judy Blume

And a kiddie book for Gage:

Sonic the Hedgehog

Combined with all of the above, recent new books, books from the old pile that haven't been read, and the five new books from the Leisure book clubs coming this month, I should be pretty busy for awhile.
