A Weekly Meme Hosted by Booking Through Thursday

Yep, definitely late this week. Haven't been on much the last week or so, haven't really been here, but I have a lot of book reviews forthcoming to make it up.

Do you have multiple copies of any of your books?
If so, why? Absent-mindedness? You love them that much? First Editions for the shelf, but paperbacks to read?
If not, why not? Not enough space? Not enough money? Too sensible to do something so foolish?

I have multiple copies of around six books. I've put them up for trade so I shouldn't have them too long. In one instance I had the book but was then sent the autographed copy. In another I bought an Agatha Christie where the titles were different but it was the same story. In another case I wanted to read a book at the same time an ex did (he wasn't an ex THEN), so we picked up two copies....neither of us ever read the book. I don't buy hardcovers to collect, so no duplicates there.

I have multiple copies of THE ONCE AND FUTURE KING, by T. H. White, because I stumbled across an out-of-print hardcover version that I just had to have, and a copy of the standalone THE SWORD IN THE STONE that I also had to have.
