Everyone knows that I bought most of the Falcon series in a used bookstore, and have since been trying to find earlier novels. (Well, my ego would like to think everyone knows, so...) After reading the first book, not being impressed, but a finisher of stories at heart, I finally succumbed to temptation and dived into another last night. I cursed myself for not having book 2, or 3, or 4, and having to start at 5. I even browsed paperback swap again for book 2 - but nope. I finished reading the fifth book today, ever present of missing background.
Today on my desk,
I find book 4.
Grrr. It's even more annoying now to have to read 4 after 5, when I didn't even know I had 4 in the first place.

I hate it when that happens. I really do prefer to read series books in order, especially when there's major plot points--even behind the scene plot points that carry over from book to book. It doesn't always work that way though.
*shakes head in despair*
I so agree.
That sucks! Sorry
I understand.
I'm up to book nine with Anita Blake..my library does not carry books 10 or 11..they carry all the rest though. Im sure as shit not skipping 10 and 11, so I have to just stop! It's killing me.
Must.read.in.order.
Oh yeah especially with the Anita series. I can't stand when people don't mind watching a TV show that has drama and the same characters out of order either.
