Top Ten Bookish Confessions (Anything! You dog ear, you hated a book but said you loved it, you have $500 library fines...anything goes!)
1. I DO have library fines! Need to pay them up when I get some extra cash. It's all because of a certain little rabbit I have in this house that hopped too close to the library book...
2. I hate dog earring and I use bookmarks almost all the time, but in a pinch I've still been known to accidentally dogear without thinking about it, argh!
3. I was embarrassed to admit on Goodreads I could not read or finish Pride and Prejudice past page 36. I tried four times to get into the book but it was such a chore reading it!
4. I've always been in love with books, and when I was in fifth grade I had the VC Andrews series. I was obsessed with keeping the books in tip-top shape. I took a damp washrag and would clean the covers to keep them shiny! I accidentally ruined the inside of the Dawn and learned the hard way books and water do not mix.
5. When I was a weird kid (again another story), sometimes I was bored and decided to lay out all the books I owned by each other on the floor, and it would cover almost the entire floor. Talk about book love...
6. I have a TBR pile of over 800 books and I still keep buying and borrowing more.
7. I'm one of the pickiest people in the world when it comes to romance books. A lot of it is badly written to me, but when it's written well I devour it.
8. I'm a lot pickier now for horror and suspense novels than I used to be.
9. I mainly like to read series that have a few at least a few books out already.
10. I read non-fiction slow and it usually takes me months, like an autobiography, even if I enjoy them. I just always read fiction at the same time, and fly through those.
