Overall it's been a fun, if not particularly productive week. Friend and I went to the local museum which, despite having lived here most of my life, I'd never been to. It turned out to be a fun way to spend a few hours, and their gift shop had the most adorable little teapots and sets. That morning we also went to a staffing agency since I'm looking for work, and she wants a change of pace, but I don't count much luck with that. I used that staffing agency years ago twice, both times with good success. The past few years when I try them nothing happens though. This time was unusual, so I think I'll just try some different ones instead.

We also went to lunch at Denny's, which was fun, The Halloween Spirit Store (maybe the best part of the day, they had better decorations than last year), Starbucks (where I got their yummy Pumpkin Spice Latte and sat outside for thirty minutes munching on a fruit muffin). And of course since the museum is right next to the library, we had to hop in there as well for some friends of the library book sale browsing! We also went to a few other stores - needless to say I was more than ready to get home.
We've decided to finally attend Orlando's Haunted Halloween Nights this year. I'm going with my best friend and fiance, it's something we've all wanted to do for years. They're doing a Walking Dead zombie theme this time around so I'm pretty excited.
Here are some of the shots from some of the creepy decorations in the store:
Other than eating dinner with my mother two nights this week at her place of work and spending time with my son, I have done little outside the house. Been getting some good news this week on all kinds of fronts, so it's been a positive experience. Getting used to not working after so long is strange and I'm forcing myself to try and keep different patterns to make it easy to keep the energy/motivation up!
I read more last week than I ended up doing this week. I got a more chapters finished from Agatha Christie An Autobiography, started reading an adorable gothic kids book Under Town (Edgar & Ellen, #3) (and now can't find it!), and am currently reading Wicked Appetite (Lizzy & Diesel, #1).
Finished Witch Way to Murder (Ophelia & Abby, #1) (4/5 stars), a little harlequin Spell Of The Mountains, (3/5 stars). Like I said, didn't read as much as usual this week.
For the site didn't do a huge amount other than reviews.

I really need to read more this week and get a lot of personal stuff done. Housework, organization, more job hunting, and I have Jury Summons Tuesday morning bright and early - ugh! Hoping I won't get picked.
