Past Week - Personal Stuff

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

Last weekend was convention weekend. My mother came my friend and I for a change this year to Spooky Empire Convention 2013. I've been going sine 2007 or so. We headed out Friday at Noon and stopped at the Winter Haven Library and took pictures of it, as well as visiting their Friends of the Library book room. They didn't have many paperbacks, mainly hardcovers, and the prices fluctuated. They had a nice coffee shop inside the library so that was fun; we ordered coffee and sat outside by the water fountain. Heavenly! I'll post pictures of that later for another library feature.

We also went to Dino's drive through as mom hasn't been there, and I got their Gyro and Fried Mushrooms to start the weekend. The hotel was great, it was a new one this year. The convention went well but too much over the days to post about here.

For Halloween I didn't do anything Halloween night except chill and rewatch Bram Stoker's Dracula, which I hadn't seen for about 10 years. I didn't like it much this time around either. Work really went all out in decorating though and it was fun. I wore my little mini witch hat clip and book shirt. Some people dressed up in cute costumes. The entire back was dressed with different displays in TVs and spiderwebs. We did trick or treating for kids from 3:30 to 5:00. Halloween is such a fun time of the year!
