Mailbox Monday: 10/5/2015

Mailbox Monday is a weekly meme started by Marcia years ago, and has since jumped to different hosts.  It's a post to showcase books and book-related items gathered through the previous week.

Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

Bookish SWAG!

Book swag! I don't get bookish swag nearly enough. As a present from the GR user summit, Out of Print merchandise - 1984 bag, librarian socks (looks cozy). Also included is Book Riot's Read Harder mug, and a sweet gift of a notebook and pencils from Karen, an absolute sweetheart.

Wendy Darling gave me these perfect bookmarks for her website, The Midnight Garden. Aren't they delightful? I picked up the decal and bookmark from Alexander Book Company. Goodreads provided the tote bag.

Books from San Francisco

American Gods is the one book I bought from the Alexander Book Company. I've been meaning to read this one awhile.

The other three I found at a cute bookstore in the airport - The Name of the Wind has been on my wishlist awhile, Fevre Dream is a vamp book from George R.R. Martin, and I didn't realize Night Broken had finally made its way to paperback.

Three ARCs I received from Goodreads - The Dust That Falls from Dreams had been on my wishlist, and the other two are new discoveries.

Four remaining ARCs - all look excellent, can't wait to read them.

Books from other sources

Big Shoes by Jack Getze was a delight to receive in the mail - love this series and can't wait to read it.

As always, happy reading!
