Reading Goals
I had a lot of fun with the last Bout of Books Read-a-thon, post here, and have been in such a reading mood this month that another read-a-thon is perfectly timed. A theme of a month I have been focusing on for a challenge is anything made for TV or movies, and I've finally started re-reading two series I planned on (Fever and Alex Delaware). Continuing with the Piper Martin series to finish it up as well. Throw in some other planned reads (okay, not just "some").
Hoping to finish at least five books.

Synopsis rewrite
Hm, hard one and not something I excel at. Picked the first book in the MacKayla Lane Fever series, told from Barron's perspective instead.
When she walked into his bookstore, it was as if a pink bomb came in to shake up his life. He first discouraged her to leave, but when she stayed and he found out how valuable she was, finally his hope of locating the ancient book may come true after all. It will take a lot of training and even more patience (plus ignoring all that pink), but he has never been closer to his goal than before. He just has to make sure to keep all his secrets covered in the meantime…

Short half-review of Laura by Vera Caspary
Unique and free flowing writing style. There was such a small suspect pool that it wasn't hard to guess the culprit during the last phase of the book. Told through the points of view of three people, which was also interesting. A recommended read. The mystery angle isn't particularly high, but there is a big surprise in the middle of it (around 30%) that speeds up the intrigue of the story. Full review to come.

Love to hate
Love Triangles. They're annoying, divisive, and distracting...but some are actually soap operas I have trouble turning away from. Go figure.
