Seasons of Reading host year-long themed, seasonal Read-a-Thons. Their January Winter's Respite Readathon is planned for the entire month - a new one for me! See the original website and post for further information if you want to join in. Twitter: #WintersRespite
I haven't done an actual month-long read-a-thon before, but it comes along as the perfect timing. Ending one Read-a-thon on Goodreads, Bout of Books here, and starting the reading year. I likely won't be able to read every day, but hope to start the year out strong.

Week Two - January 8-14

Unfortunately my chest was feeling funny Sunday night and still now Monday morning - hopefully this doesn't mean I'm getting sick again! It's only been three weeks since I got over my cold, but so much has been doing around!
And here starts the second full week of the year...
Because there isn't already enough going on reading-goal wise with these read-a-thons (seriously, there IS), there is also a 24-hr-readthon Friday through Saturday hosted by the adorable blog, The Caramel Files. Or, as they actually say, 24 hours and five minutes. Due to spending quality time with the kiddo and sleep, I won't be able to do a full actual 24-hr-a-thon - still, I want to check in and tweet and perhaps try to push forward the reading an eensy bit more. Their Twitter Tag is @245readathon
