If you're not familiar with the 24in48 Read-a-thon, it takes the concept of the 24-hour readathon but breaks it up into two day chunks to make it more manageable. You can choose to do most of your reading on Saturday and take it easy with a few hours on Sunday, split it twelve hours both ways, or just random chunks of 4 hours. As long as it reaches a 24 hour total from 12:00 am Saturday morning until midnight Sunday night EDT, you're all accomplished and set. Check the official website out for more details, merch, facts, and sign-ups.

My post June last year
Saturday Afternoon
Starting very late after sleeping in and being lazy. It's been a rough week with personal stuff, but also a sick cat we had to put to sleep on Thursday :( Hopefully the weekend goes slow and with plenty of rest and fun, it's refreshing enough to start work again on Monday.
After opening up for a bit with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban audiobook, I switched to NOS4A2 audiobook while getting some grocery shopping done. Confusing book, but good.
After 4, read on the porch for about 2 hours with the rain in the background (nice weather breaking up the heat). I read Dark Island, a Kindle Unlimited Book, which was fun. It's exploring the possibility of dinosaurs (to an extent) underneath a cavern in Madagascar. Got to 81% and then needed to change it up.
After that, dinner and more with the Harry Potter Audiobook while updating the computer. It is not 8:18 PM. Have reached only Seven Hours - Not too impressive so far, but I appreciated my sleep and breaks!
From 6:50 pm to 9:00 PM resumed Harry Potter Audiobook while browsing on the computer. That's where audiobooks come in handy ;) Jim Dale is worthy of the praise.
At 11:30 I resumed audio for a bit, and then at 1:50 started a print book, my re-read of White Hot by Ilona Andrews.
Bubbles and Rogan/Nevada = bliss.

I finally fell asleep at 5:00 am. Got a good amount of reading in for Saturday.
Sunday
Sunday was devoted to finishing the audiobook for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I "read" from 1 pm to 5 pm and finished. I read 35 minutes in another bath for White Hot, and then another hour of it at bedtime.
Books Finished
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Not Finished
- White Hot by Ilona Andrews, 75% done
- Dark Island by Matt James, 82% done
